Machine Operator

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Machine Operator in a busy packaging centre based in Carrigtwohill

We have a position available in the wood section at present, the start date for this position would be within the first 2 weeks of October 2024

Monday to Thursday starting at 7.30am – finishing 4.00pm, Friday starting at 7.30am- finishing at 3.00pm

Rate of Pay €13.10 per hour, this may increase based on experience and overtime paid at a higher rate

For this role we would be looking for someone who has worked with wood before, either through work or doing DIY projects at home

Each employee will be utilized and cross-trained in many different areas within the company to ensure job satisfaction, motivation, quality products, excellent customer service, and overall productivity.

Machine operating, maintenance and safety
Assembly, cutting, housekeeping
Keeping standards of quality to a high degree
Improving and innovating on a regular basis
Team work and timekeeping are a key part of this job
