Location: South Dublin
Salary: €32,000 – €35,000

Working Hours:

• 39 hours per week
• Primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts (branch operates 6 days a week)
• Shifts may range from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (to be confirmed during the interview)

Job Overview:

The Stores Person will oversee the branch\’s stores area, handling deliveries, organising stock, updating records, and maintaining cleanliness. The role also includes assisting with sales and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage stock by unloading deliveries and placing items in designated locations
• Interact with trade customers
• Handle sales enquiries via phone or in person, provide information, advice, and quotations
• Enter stock data into the ERP system, report damages, and coordinate returns to the Central Warehouse
• Resolve issues related to orders and deliveries, taking ownership
• Understand and fulfil customer needs and expectations
• Keep customers informed about their orders and deliveries
• Monitor and manage customer orders and deliveries
• Perform additional tasks as requested by management
• Follow company policies and procedures

Candidate Requirements:

Essential:

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems
• Knowledge of cycle counting and stock management
• Experience in a stores/warehouse role within a customer-focused setting
• Proficient in using PCs
• Forklift operation experience
• Enthusiastic and innovative work approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly customer-focused and results-oriented

Preferred:

• Valid forklift license
• Sales experience
