Crew Controller

We are currently seeking a Crew Controller/Ground Operations Controller for our client, a leading airline based in Dublin Airport. The successful candidate will play a vital role in both the crew control and ground operations departments.

Salary is 38,000 base plus 12% shift allowance. (€42,600)

**Key Responsibilities:**

– Maintain crew rosters in line with regulatory and client requirements.

– Ensure all flights are adequately crewed according to the published roster.

– Coordinate training schedules with instructors.

– Manage daily crew rostering issues, including absences, swaps, and disruptions.

– Provide solutions to any flight and crew schedule disruptions.

– Monitor crew hour limitations (weekly, monthly, annually).

– Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports as needed.

– Serve as the main point of contact for all client airports within the network.

– Ensure compliance with client policies, procedures, and agreements by ground handling service providers.

– Identify and address areas of underperformance among airports and ground handlers.

– Compile and produce reports on key performance metrics, including punctuality and customer service.

– Manage disruptions and ensure effective customer care in accordance with regulations.

– Authorize invoices for ad-hoc ground handling services.

– Perform general OCC administration duties and ad-hoc reporting.

**Key Competencies / Skills Required:**

– Strong organizational and time management skills.

– Technical proficiency and problem-solving abilities.

– Excellent communication skills at all levels.

– Initiative, self-direction, and motivation.

Essential Criteria:

– Ability to pass a 5-year background check.

– Authorization to live and work in Ireland without restrictions.

Desired:

– Familiarity with PDC / PPS / ASTRAL systems.

– Experience with IATA / EASA AIR OPS / FTLs.

– Background in an aviation-related environment.

– Previous experience as a crew controller or ground operations controller.
