Airport Staff is currently recruiting for a Showroom Sales Advisor for a leading building materials brand in the Irish market.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day showroom sales and handle customer enquiries.
- Drive new business development with specifiers, contractors, and end users.
- Negotiate rates with clients for new business within set parameters.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to maximise sales opportunities.
- Ensure high standards of customer service are consistently upheld as per management\’s expectations.
- Collaborate with management and the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Prepare and present weekly sales and quotation reports to management.
- Update and maintain showroom displays and ensure product brochures are current.
- Oversee the samples area, ensuring it remains organised and up to date.
- Work closely with the sales team to monitor and manage stock levels.
- Handle opening and closing procedures for the showroom.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by management.
Authorities:
- Negotiate client rates within management-approved pricing parameters (between retail and trade prices).
Skills and Competency Requirements:
- Proven sales experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in mathematics.
- Ability to read and interpret house plans and drawings.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with accounting software.
