Marketing Executive

Location: Galway headquarters with travel to retail stores as needed
Reports To: Retail Marketing Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Executive with a strong background in traditional marketing, ideally within the retail sector or with a solid understanding of the retail industry. This role is perfect for someone passionate about creating impactful campaigns that drive footfall, boost sales, and enhance the in-store customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Implementation

  • Support the Retail Marketing Manager in planning and executing innovative retail marketing initiatives.
  • Research and identify opportunities to engage customers and increase store traffic.
  • Develop eye-catching in-store campaigns, ensuring consistent brand representation.
  • Analyse campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Retail Operations Support

  • Regularly visit stores to spot opportunities for improving visual merchandising and customer experience.
  • Collaborate with store teams to roll out marketing strategies effectively.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to stay ahead of market trends.

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Partner with the digital marketing team to blend in-store campaigns with online platforms.
  • Work alongside the PR team on store events and product launches.
  • Liaise with designers to create engaging promotional materials.

Customer Insights & Analysis

  • Conduct surveys and focus groups to gather customer insights.
  • Monitor feedback to fine-tune the in-store experience.
  • Keep up with the latest retail marketing innovations.

Event Planning & Management

  • Organize and promote in-store events, exhibitions, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers for marketing materials.

What You\’ll Need

  • A degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in retail marketing or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with a creative flair for crafting engaging campaigns.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Familiarity with marketing tools (CRM, social media platforms, etc.).
  • Willingness to travel and a full driver\’s license with access to your own car.
