Part-Qualified Accountant

As a key member of the finance team, The Part-Qualified Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality accounting services to our clients. You will be responsible for managing core financial processes, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and contributing to the overall efficiency and growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate year-end financial statements and supporting reports for review

• Reconcile key accounts including VAT, payroll, leases, hire purchases, and fixed assets

• Accurately record financial transactions using accounting software

• Assist in the preparation of management accounts and ad-hoc financial reports

• Ensure all financial reporting meets compliance standards and internal deadlines

• Support the year-end closing process, including posting of final journals

• Assist in the preparation of Corporation Tax returns

• Communicate professionally with clients via phone and email, offering timely support

• Collaborate with senior managers on special assignments and strategic projects

Skills and Experience:

• Part-qualified ACA or ACCA accountant

• Minimum of 2 years\’ experience in an accountancy practice environment

• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting

• Meticulous attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-first mindset

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the broader Office Suite

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
