Contract: Fixed Term (to end of 2026)

We are seeking a Production Planner to join our client based in Little Island, Cork to support production and logistics operations through effective scheduling, coordination, and performance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain production schedules aligned with customer demand, forecasts, and manufacturing capacity.

  • Analyse material, labour, and logistics requirements to ensure efficient resource use and on-time delivery.

  • Schedule production activities to ensure smooth material flow and schedule adherence.

  • Use ERP systems to manage production planning, labour hours, inventory, and logistics data.

  • Coordinate inbound materials with suppliers and procurement.

  • Plan and manage outbound logistics, including warehousing and transportation of finished goods.

  • Monitor and report on KPIs such as on-time delivery, schedule adherence, and revenue performance.

  • Identify bottlenecks and support continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations.

Requirements

  • Experience in production planning, manufacturing, or engineering environments.

  • Knowledge of industrial/commercial HVAC systems and refrigeration (air-cooled and water-cooled).

  • Strong organisational skills with advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.

  • Experience using ERP systems and reporting on KPIs.

  • Understanding of logistics, inventory, and warehousing principles.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
