HVAC Service Engineer – Dublin
We are working with a leading global manufacturer of data centre cooling solutions, currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Service Engineer to join their team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to work on mission-critical cooling systems within the rapidly growing data centre sector.
Salary: €50k DOE
Role Overview:
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and commissioning HVAC equipment and systems to the highest standards. The role requires strong technical expertise, a proactive approach, and the ability to work in a mission-critical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate and timely service, maintenance, and commissioning of HVAC systems in line with company standards and health & safety policies.
- Attend scheduled site visits and respond to emergency calls as part of a 24/7 on-call rota.
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis on HVAC equipment.
- Complete repairs to factory standards and deliver quoted works within scope and budget.
- Ensure compliance with all industry regulations, including Health & Safety and F-Gas requirements.
- Provide detailed service reports using company software and identify opportunities for additional maintenance or service work.
- Collaborate with internal teams to share feedback and support product improvement initiatives.
- Assist colleagues across regions when required and contribute to project engineering or technical support as needed.
Requirements:
- Formal qualification in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, HVAC, or Mechanical/Building Services.
- Minimum of 4 years\’ experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC and Refrigeration/DX systems, including controls.
- F-Gas certification.
- Experience with Air Handling Units, CRAC/CRAH, Split & VRF systems.
- Familiarity with adiabatic cooling and chillers is desirable but not essential.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
