About the Role
We are seeking a Production Planner to join our client\’s team in Little Island, Cork. This role supports production and logistics operations through effective scheduling, coordination, and performance monitoring, ensuring efficient use of resources and on-time delivery to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules aligned with customer demand, forecasts, and manufacturing capacity
• Analyse material, labour, and logistics requirements to support efficient planning
• Schedule production activities to ensure smooth material flow and adherence to plans
• Use ERP systems to manage production plans, labour hours, inventory, and logistics data
• Coordinate inbound materials with suppliers and procurement teams
• Plan and manage outbound logistics, including warehousing and transportation of finished goods
• Monitor and report on KPIs such as on-time delivery, schedule adherence, and revenue performance
• Identify bottlenecks and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations

Requirements

• Experience in production planning within a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Knowledge of industrial or commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems (air- and water-cooled)
• Strong organisational skills with advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
• Experience using ERP systems and KPI reporting
• Understanding of logistics, inventory, and warehousing principles
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
