Coach Driver – Dublin Airport
Our client, a leading ground transport provider at Dublin Airport, is seeking professional, customer-focused Coach Drivers to join their fast-paced team. This role offers the opportunity to support daily air travel operations by transporting passengers safely, efficiently, and comfortably between terminals and aircraft while delivering excellent service. You will work closely with colleagues, airport staff, and airline representatives to ensure smooth operations.
Pay Rate: €17.53 – €17.70 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and record pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are safe and ready for operation
- Transport passengers safely and efficiently as directed by airline partners
- Maintain a strong focus on passenger safety and comfort at all times
- Inspect the coach before and after trips for any lost property
- Ensure the vehicle interior and exterior are clean, tidy, and hazard-free
- Communicate any delays or issues promptly to supervisors
- Report mechanical faults or equipment issues immediately
- Wear the required uniform and safety gear, including high-visibility clothing
- Support team operations and take on additional duties as required
- Maintain clear and professional communication with colleagues and supervisors
Requirements
- Full, clean Category D Driver\’s Licence
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Ability to pass a 5-year background check and Garda vetting
- Legal right to live and work in the EU
- Strong written and spoken English
- Flexibility to work rostered shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent punctuality and attendance record
- Professional presentation and adherence to uniform standards
- Previous experience in an operational or transport environment
Contract & Hours
- Full-time, permanent position
- 37.5 hours per week (flexibility required)
- Shift lengths between 4-10 hours
- Roster includes early starts and late finishes
- Overtime paid at time and a half
