Senior Accountant

Job description

We are looking for a highly skilled, qualified, and motivated Senior Accountant to oversee a diverse portfolio of clients spanning multiple industries. This position offers early client engagement and the chance to collaborate closely with sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.

Responsibilities

· Review financial accounts and tax computations for sole traders, companies, and partnerships.

· Manage a portfolio of clients and maintain strong client relationships.

· Support Partners and specialist teams in delivering high-quality client service.

· Contribute to the growth and development of the Practice.

· Ensure compliance with relevant accounting and taxation standards and regulations.

· Assist clients in achieving their business and financial objectives.

· Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver innovative solutions for clients.

· Maintain high standards of accuracy, attention to detail, and client service.

· Manage deadlines effectively while supporting and mentoring team members where required.

Skills and Experience

· CPA/ACA/ACCA qualified accountant.

· Minimum of 3 years\’ experience working in a Public Practice environment.

· Strong attention to detail and technical accounting knowledge.

· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.

· Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively within teams.

· Commercial awareness and commitment to exceptional customer service.

· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work on own initiative.

· A willingness to learn and develop professionally.

· Passion for helping businesses achieve their potential.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software systems.
