Refrigeration Engineer

F-Gas Refrigeration Engineer – South East Ireland

Our client, a leading manufacturer and supplier within the Plumbing, Heating, and Renewable Energy sector, is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join their growing team. The company supplies a broad portfolio of products including plumbing and heating pipe systems, underfloor heating, heat pumps, fittings, and associated renewable heating solutions.

The Role

• F-Gas piping and connection work

• Commissioning heat pump heating systems
• Supporting the commercial sales team with technical expertise
• Fault finding and diagnostics on refrigeration and heating systems
• Providing excellent customer support and technical guidance

The successful candidate will ideally have experience within the refrigeration, plumbing, heating, or construction industries and demonstrate strong technical capability combined with excellent interpersonal skills.

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

• City & Guilds F-GAS 2079 Certification or updated EU 27 F-Gas Certification
  and/or
• Refrigeration Craftsperson QQI Level 6 qualification (post-2010 awards containing F-Gas certification)
• Knowledge of renewable heating technologies, standards, and industry best practices
• Full clean driver\’s licence
• Experience working with air-conditioning and/or heat pump systems
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and customer engagement skills
• Strong work ethic and professional attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good Excel/computer skills
