Bin Truck Driver (C Licence)

Salary & Benefits:

• €17.00 per hour
• Overtime paid at €25.50 per hour
• Tax-free subsistence: €11.50 per day
• Annual safety bonus: €400

Location: Kilcullen, Co. Kildare

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Saturdays required before Bank Holiday Mondays
• Start time between 6:00am and 7:00am
• Average 8-10 hour shifts

About the Role

Labour Force is recruiting a Bin Truck Driver for a full-time, permanent position on behalf of a leading company in the waste management and refuse collection industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out commercial and domestic bin collections across designated routes, ensuring high standards of safety, efficiency, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect domestic and commercial waste across assigned routes
• Ensure all collections are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule
• Maintain company vehicles in a clean, safe, and roadworthy condition
• Supervise helpers on route, ensuring work is completed professionally
• Complete daily paperwork and vehicle safety checks
• Adhere to all health & safety regulations and company policies
• Report any operational issues to management
• Provide excellent customer service at all times
• Work collaboratively to ensure public and team safety

Key Requirements

• Valid C Driving Licence
• CPC qualification and Tachograph card
• Previous experience in a similar driving role
• Manual Handling Certificate
• Strong understanding of health & safety procedures
• Good written and verbal English
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
