Commercial Lines Account Handler – Galway

Our client is seeking experienced Account Handlers to join their Commercial Lines team in Galway, offering a salary of €35,000 to €45,000 DOE. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated professionals ready to advance their careers in commercial insurance.

Role Overview:

• Provide comprehensive insurance broking services, including renewals, market research, and policy updates.
• Achieve New Business and Renewal targets and identify opportunities for new business.
• Build strong client relationships, addressing queries and advising on coverage improvements.
• Ensure compliance with Central Bank codes and company standards through effective documentation.
• Maintain communication with insurers, staying informed on market conditions, pricing, and product trends.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in commercial broking or insurance, with knowledge across commercial property, liability, fleet, or professional indemnity products.
• Familiarity with Central Bank regulatory standards.
• CIP qualified or working towards qualification (or \”Grandfathered\” status).
• Strong IT skills, with knowledge of Relay as an advantage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and attention to detail.
