Job Title: Freight Operations Executive

Normal Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm (Flexibility required)

We are seeking a Freight Operations Executive to join our client\’s Air and Sea Freight Team in Cork. The role involves managing import/export shipments, ensuring service quality, compliance, and profitability. Strong attention to detail and confidence in dealing with stakeholders are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage import/export FCL/LCL/Airfreight consignments.

Monitor bookings and track shipments via systems.

Issue Airwaybills, MBL, HBLs and handle customs documentation.

Liaise with customs brokerage for import clearance and ensure timely payment of duties/VAT.

Arrange transport and confirm shipment details with clients.

Handle invoicing, resolve accounts queries, and address customer inquiries promptly.

Role Requirements:

2+ years of sea freight/import/export experience.

Due to location own car essential

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Customs clearance experience is a plus.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
