Job Title: General Operative (Goods-In)
Location: Citywest, D24
Salary: €32,000 per annum
Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Position Type: Permanent

Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and reliable General Operative (Goods-In) to join our team at Citywest, D24. The successful candidate will play a key role within our Logistics team, ensuring that all incoming goods are accurately processed and recorded. You will be responsible for inspecting, booking in, and labeling products, while maintaining a high level of organization and accuracy throughout the goods-in process. This is an essential role in supporting the overall efficiency of our warehouse operations.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of the Goods-In team and assist with general warehouse duties.
  • Inspect and book in incoming consignments, label products, and load/unload trucks.
  • Complete and report relevant paperwork for incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Ensure all incoming products are inspected for quality and accuracy before being entered into the Warehouse Management System (SAPB1).
  • Provide 100% quality customer service, ensuring absolute customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Yearly reports as required.
  • Respond to queries in a timely manner with accurate information.
  • Maintain high standards of Good In Practices, ensuring full compliance with GDP (Good Distribution Practices).
  • Adapt quickly to changing business demands and priorities.
  • Develop excellent working relationships with colleagues and customers across departments.
  • Handle any other ad-hoc duties as requested by your manager.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a fast-moving logistics environment or warehouse setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, meeting operational quality standards.
  • Power Pallet, VNA, or Counterbalance experience and up-to-date licenses are an advantage, but not required.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and pay attention to detail.
  • Resilience to manage change, embrace new technologies, and quickly learn new processes.
  • Strong communication skills, with fluency in both written and spoken English.
  • High level of flexibility and adaptability to changing business demands.
