Airport Staff are looking to recruit Aircraft General Operatives/Preppers for our client, a leading multinational Aircraft Spray Painting company. This is an excellent opportunity for a General Operative/Labourer looking for career progression and intro to the world of aviation painting, where skills are in high demand.

As a General Operative/Prepper you will undertake general duties and prep involved with the painting of commercial aircraft with customer liveries and tech markings.

Requirements:

• Working knowledge of English
• Previous experience in a general operative/labourer/construction role.
  (This role is physically demanding)
• Paint prepping or spray-painting experience is an advantage, but not essential.
• Ability to complete a 5 year background check, Garda Vetting (This will include foreign work references and foreign Police Clearance if previously resident in another country within last 5 years)

Responsibilities:

• Assist Production Managers/Team Leaders with aircraft preparation
• Water washing aircraft, masking of surfaces
• Removal of existing paint schemes
• Comply with company and regulatory policies and procedures
• Maintain clean and tidy work area and comply with health + safety policy

Salary starting from €33,000 with progression possible for motivated candidates to progress to Primers, Painters and Team Leads (up to circa €50k)
