We are seeking a highly skilled, organised, and detail-oriented HVAC Project Manager to oversee and manage the successful execution of data centre projects across the EMEA region. Reporting to the Projects Director, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project management, particularly within data centre construction or mechanical engineering projects. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of HVAC systems and project delivery from design through to commissioning.
Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact during the design, manufacture, and site delivery phases of assigned projects.

Manage day-to-day aspects of projects, including client interactions and site technical teams.

Develop and execute project plans, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project objectives.

Prepare and maintain project records, technical documentation, and submittals.

Track project milestones, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Ensure compliance with approved specifications, contract terms, and health & safety standards.

Lead factory testing coordination and site commissioning activities.

Deliver post-production documentation, including as-built drawings, operation manuals, and spare parts lists.

Manage change orders, variations, and project issues, escalating when necessary.

Attend meetings with clients, stakeholders, and third parties to coordinate project activities.

Provide weekly and monthly progress and commercial reports to senior management.

Assist finance teams as needed regarding project commercial matters.

Ensure effective communication of project information, including sensitive or complex updates.
Skills & Experience

Qualification in project management, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience in project management within construction or M&E, preferably in data centres.

Strong knowledge of HVAC and air handling systems.

Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate sensitive information tactfully.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools; experience with Procore or BIM360 is an advantage.

Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Health & Safety supervisor/management qualification (SSSTS / SMSTS) desirable.

Understanding of revenue models, P&L, and cost-to-completion projections is advantageous.
