We are looking for a strong Management Accountant to join a growing and dynamic finance team. This role involves preparing high-quality management accounts and delivering timely, insightful financial reports to support informed decision-making across the organisation.
The Management Accountant will work closely with internal leadership, providing strategic financial input while supporting and mentoring junior team members. You\’ll help drive improvements in internal financial processes and ensure consistent adherence to high reporting standards.
Responsibilities
General

Manage a small finance team to ensure high-quality outputs are delivered on schedule

Coordinate staffing and task assignments with team leads

Engage with internal stakeholders on financial arrangements and delivery planning

Support the continuous improvement of internal financial processes by identifying areas for efficiency gains
Financial reporting

Prepare and oversee monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and clarity throughout all reporting

Review monthly reconciliations and investigate anomalies

Analyse financial results and provide clear, actionable insights

Translate financial data into performance summaries for non-financial teams

Create and update cashflow projections and budget forecasts to reflect current business activity

Develop annual budgets and conduct regular performance comparisons in collaboration with department managers

Prepare and submit corporation tax filings

Review VAT returns prior to submission

Support and coordinate external audits

Participate in long-term financial planning efforts that support strategic business goals

Handle ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests as they arise

Maintain financial documentation and reporting compliance in line with audit requirements
Skills and experience
-
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA) with a minimum of 2 years\’ post-qualification experience in Ireland

Proven ability to prepare and finalise management accounts

Strong communication skills across all levels of an organisation

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

Experience using Sage, Xero, or Accounts IQ is highly beneficial

Self-motivated, adaptable, and client-oriented in approach

Excellent time management and organisational skills

Comfortable handling tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently and with minimal supervision
