We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Marketing Manager with a strong focus on traditional marketing and sales to lead local marketing efforts across our retail network. This role plays a vital part in increasing foot traffic, driving store performance, and enhancing visibility in local communities through effective, targeted marketing campaigns.

The Marketing Manager will be someone with strong commercial awareness and hands-on experience in planning and executing impactful, locally driven strategies across traditional media platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement tailored local marketing strategies with a primary focus on traditional marketing methods including print, radio, outdoor advertising, and direct mail

  • Work closely with store teams to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with local sales goals and seasonal business needs

  • Design, produce, and manage in-store marketing materials including point-of-sale displays, signage, brochures, and promotional assets

  • Plan and manage end-to-end traditional marketing campaigns, ensuring consistency in messaging and strong brand presence across all touchpoints

  • Build partnerships with local newspapers, radio stations, and community groups to amplify marketing reach and foster brand trust within key target areas

  • Organize and support store events, sponsorships, and community engagement activities to increase awareness and drive in-store visits

  • Conduct regular visits to retail locations to assess campaign execution, gather insights, and identify new opportunities for localized marketing efforts

  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance using sales data and key metrics to continuously refine campaign strategy and boost effectiveness

  • Perform competitive research to stay ahead of market trends and uncover gaps or opportunities for brand differentiation

  • Manage the marketing budget with a focus on cost-efficiency and high return on investment, ensuring all resources are effectively allocated

  • Lead and mentor the marketing team, encouraging a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in retail marketing with an emphasis on traditional marketing channels and sales activation

  • Deep understanding of campaign planning, execution, and measurement across print, radio, out-of-home, and community marketing platforms

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to draw actionable insights from campaign data and retail sales trends

  • Demonstrated experience managing marketing budgets and ensuring efficient use of resources

  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and manage both internal and external stakeholders

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with tools used in campaign scheduling, production, and reporting

  • Bachelor\’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred
