The role centres on keeping freight moving without delay, maintaining clear information flows, and delivering service that stands up to the pressures of global trade.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep cargo moving through every stage of the export process with accuracy and pace.
• Enter shipment data promptly and correctly within internal systems.
• Track and trace export files, providing timely updates and concise reporting.
• Adhere to all regulatory requirements, ensuring full compliance with both internal policies and government standards.
• Contribute to a streamlined workflow by identifying practical improvements that benefit efficiency, colleagues, and customers alike.
• Maintain up-to-date customer procedures and ensure they are reflected accurately.
• Communicate effectively with overseas partners, responding to requests in a timely and constructive manner.
• Highlight issues early and escalate them to management where needed.

Candidate Profile

• One year of relevant industry experience or a comparable blend of training and education.
• Familiarity with ocean-freight documentation is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal ability, with the confidence to listen carefully, convey information clearly, and work towards shared outcomes across diverse teams.
• A proactive approach and solid organisational habits.
• Comfortable using standard software such as Excel and Word.
• Hazardous Materials certification welcomed.
• Fluent in English.
