Contract: Fixed Term (to end of 2026)
We are seeking a Production Planner to join our client based in Little Island, Cork to support production and logistics operations through effective scheduling, coordination, and performance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain production schedules aligned with customer demand, forecasts, and manufacturing capacity.

Analyse material, labour, and logistics requirements to ensure efficient resource use and on-time delivery.

Schedule production activities to ensure smooth material flow and schedule adherence.

Use ERP systems to manage production planning, labour hours, inventory, and logistics data.

Coordinate inbound materials with suppliers and procurement.

Plan and manage outbound logistics, including warehousing and transportation of finished goods.

Monitor and report on KPIs such as on-time delivery, schedule adherence, and revenue performance.

Identify bottlenecks and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations.
Requirements
-
Experience in production planning, manufacturing, or engineering environments.

Knowledge of industrial/commercial HVAC systems and refrigeration (air-cooled and water-cooled).

Strong organisational skills with advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.

Experience using ERP systems and reporting on KPIs.

Understanding of logistics, inventory, and warehousing principles.

Strong written and verbal communication skills
