Quality System Engineer

Location: Athlone, Ireland

Duration: Full-Time, 6-month contract

Job Description:

As a Quality System Engineer, you will play a crucial role in upholding our quality assurance standards. Working with moderate direction, you will audit the work activities of production workers to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. You will use your expertise to identify issues and assist in resolving them, contributing to the overall improvement of our processes.

Key Responsibilities:

– Conduct audits of work activities to verify compliance with quality assurance standards.

– Review processing information and records to ensure adherence to specifications.

– Observe equipment usage to ensure proper operation and maintenance.

– Prepare and submit audit reports to supervisory personnel.

– Collaborate with teams to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

– Utilize statistical tools such as Pareto charts and trend charts for analysis.

– Conduct root cause analysis to address quality issues effectively.

Requirements:

– Bachelor\’s degree in Engineering or a related field (minimum level 8).

– Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

– Familiarity with statistical tools and techniques.

– Experience with root cause analysis tools is preferred.

– Knowledge of quality requirements within a regulated environment is advantageous.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

– Ability to work effectively with moderate direction and independently when necessary.

– Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

– Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
