Driver – Airport Catering Operations (Full-Time, Permanent)

An excellent opportunity for a full-time Driver to join a busy catering operation based at Dublin Airport. This role suits experienced drivers who value structure, safety and steady hours, across a 24/7 operation.

Working Hours

• 40 hours per week
• 24/7 operation covering day, evening and night shifts
• Weekday and weekend work required

The Role
You will be responsible for the delivery, loading and offloading of catering equipment and supplies at Dublin Airport. This is a customer-facing position in a secure, fast-paced environment where attention to detail and adherence to procedures are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle checks at the start of each shift
• Load and offload catering items safely and on time
• Drive airside in line with training, road safety regulations and airport rules
• Ensure vehicles are security-checked, sealed and fully documented
• Load equipment according to set plans and company procedures
• Complete handovers and ensure documentation is signed correctly
• Return unused items to the unit and offload to relevant departments
• Use tachograph correctly for all journeys
• Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of the vehicle

Duties may vary depending on operational requirements.

Requirements

• Full Class C driving licence
• CPC card and digital tachograph card
• Minimum one year\’s driving experience
• Experience with rigid vehicles
• Comfortable driving both left- and right-hand drive vehicles
• Availability for a 24/7 shift rotation
• Ability to pass Garda vetting and a five-year background check
• Able to work independently and as part of a wider team
• Legal right to work full-time in Ireland

Experience & Certification

• Driving experience: 1 year preferred
• Class C licence, CPC card and tachograph card required
