Rigid Driver – Dublin 12

Job Title: Truck Driver (Full-Time, Permanent)
Salary: €40,000 – €45,000 per year

About the Role
A well-established Irish distribution company is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join the team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where drivers play a key part in maintaining strong relationships with customers.

You will not only be responsible for deliveries but also act as a representative of the company, ensuring a high standard of service at all times.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday, typically from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily deliveries to both trade and residential customers (mainly within the Dublin area).
• Assist with planning and loading delivery routes.
• Handle home deliveries, including occasional unpacking of appliances for end users when required.
• Maintain high standards of safety, accuracy, and efficiency during all tasks.

Additional Duties

• Manage recycling activities, including cardboard, plastic, paper, and appliances.
• Support warehouse operations during quieter periods (e.g., maintaining cleanliness, assisting with stock handling and light assembly tasks).

Requirements

• Full, clean truck driving licence (essential)
• Minimum of 2 years\’ relevant driving experience
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent references
• Must be currently based in Ireland
