About the Role
Labour Force are seeking an energetic, technically minded Sales Representative to manage and grow an established territory across the West of Ireland. This is a well-developed region with strong existing accounts and significant growth potential.
This role blends account management with proactive new business development, focusing on long-term partnerships and consultative, solution-led selling.
Our client is a well-established Irish distributor specialising in high-quality products for the kitchen manufacturing and joinery industries. They partner with leading European brands to supply premium hardware, adhesives, fittings, and finishing solutions to trade professionals across Ireland.
With a strong reputation built on technical expertise, reliability, and long-term customer relationships, the business focuses on delivering value beyond products-providing hands-on support, practical solutions, and trusted advice to manufacturers, workshop teams, and business owners.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an established customer base (approx. 50%)
- Identify and convert new business opportunities (approx. 50%)
- Build strong relationships across owner, management, and workshop levels
- Deliver consistent annual territory growth of 5-10%+
- Demonstrate and technically support a range of products
- Provide hands-on demonstrations and on-site technical advice
- Specify appropriate solutions for customer applications
- Maintain organised territory planning and CRM updates
- Work independently while contributing positively to the wider sales team
Technical Capability (Essential)
- Strong practical aptitude
- Comfortable discussing joinery, cabinetry, and hardware applications
- Ability to learn how to specify hinges, drawers, and fittings accurately
- Confident delivering product demonstrations in workshop environments
- Genuine interest in technical or hands-on product engagement
Note: Full training will be provided, however a strong commitment to learning is essential. It may take 6-12 months to reach full technical competence.

Experience & Requirements
- 1+ years\’ experience in sales or a related field preferred
- Experience in kitchen manufacturing, joinery, woodworking, or similar sectors is advantageous
- Full clean driving licence required
- Third-level qualification beneficial but not essential
Training & Development
Initial training will take place in Dublin, with additional training provided by supplier partners both in Ireland and internationally.
