Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced, driven, and professionally qualified Senior Accountant to manage a varied client portfolio across a range of sectors. This role provides the opportunity for early interaction with clients and close collaboration with sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.

Responsibilities

· Examine and prepare financial statements and tax calculations for sole traders, partnerships, and corporate clients.
· Oversee a portfolio of clients while developing and maintaining positive professional relationships.
· Work alongside Partners and specialist departments to provide excellent client support and service.
· Play an active role in supporting the continued expansion and success of the Practice.
· Ensure all accounting and tax work complies with current regulations, standards, and legal requirements.
· Support clients in reaching their financial and business goals through professional guidance.
· Collaborate with colleagues across teams to deliver effective and innovative client solutions.
· Maintain exceptional levels of accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail in all work.
· Effectively manage workloads and deadlines while offering guidance and support to team members when necessary.

Skills and Experience

· Professionally qualified accountant (CPA/ACA/ACCA).
· At least 3 years of experience within a Public Practice setting.
· Strong technical accounting ability with excellent attention to detail.
· Effective communication, interpersonal, and organisational capabilities.
· Proven ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively within a team environment.
· Strong commercial understanding and dedication to delivering excellent customer service.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to work independently.
· Enthusiastic about continuous learning and ongoing professional growth.
· Passionate about supporting businesses in achieving success and growth.
· Competent in Microsoft Office applications and accounting software packages.
