Senior Accountant

We are currently seeking a motivated, experienced, and qualified Senior Accountant to manage a broad portfolio of clients across a variety of industries. This opportunity offers early exposure to client interaction and the chance to work closely with sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.

Responsibilities

· Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for sole traders, partnerships, and corporate entities.
· Handle a portfolio of clients while building and maintaining strong professional relationships.
· Assist Partners and specialist departments in delivering a high standard of client service.
· Support the ongoing growth and success of the Practice.
· Ensure all accounting and taxation work is completed in line with current regulations and compliance standards.
· Help clients achieve their commercial and financial goals through professional support and advice.
· Collaborate with internal departments to provide effective and forward-thinking solutions for clients.
· Maintain a high level of accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail in all areas of work.
· Manage workloads efficiently, meet deadlines, and provide guidance to team members when required.

Skills and Experience

· Qualified accountant holding CPA, ACA, or ACCA certification.
· Minimum of three years\’ experience within a Public Practice environment.
· Strong technical accounting expertise and excellent attention to detail.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational abilities.
· Capable of managing multiple deadlines and working effectively as part of a team.
· Commercially aware with a strong focus on delivering excellent customer service.
· Strong initiative and problem-solving capabilities.
· Eager to continue learning and progressing professionally.
· Dedicated to supporting businesses in reaching their full potential.
· Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office and accounting software systems.
