About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Senior Transport Coordinator to join a leading airline catering operation based in the Airport Logistics Park, St. Margaret\’s. This organisation provides inflight catering, onboard retail and logistics services across all major Irish airports.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, creating, and monitoring the day-to-day catering loading schedules based on daily flight rotations. You will also react quickly to schedule changes to ensure on-time catering delivery. The Catering Department plays a vital role in supporting operational performance, with a focus on procedural, safety, planning and development initiatives across Security, Health & Safety, Air Safety and HACCP.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare daily crew rotation sheets and allocation sheets, and upload all crew information to FIDS screens
Manage and monitor day-to-day planning of catering loading operations in line with daily flight rotations
Create and adjust daily loading crew sheets with a focus on efficient rostering and minimising overtime
Upload catering allocations to FIDS via BATS and update based on schedule changes or aircraft swaps
Ensure all drivers comply with Working Time Directive legislation and RSA driving hours requirements
Ensure full compliance with tachograph regulations
Monitor potential operational delays and plan early mitigations to protect the flight schedule
Act as central communication link with OCC, Station Control, Ground Ops, maintenance providers and other key stakeholders
Monitor, plan, and respond to updated scheduling information for charter and ad-hoc flight patterns
Serve as a key point of contact for drivers, management and external agencies
Manage the full return‑to‑work process including documentation and meetings
Support roster production for drivers and the transport office
Manage accident/incident reporting, ensuring all events are logged and communicated appropriately
Manage delay reporting and represent catering on the daily operations call
Ensure all security declaration and check sheets are completed and signed for each flight
Oversee the team to ensure strong on-time performance
Other duties as required depending on operational needs

Requirements

Full clean \”C\” licence with up‑to‑date CPC and driver card
Minimum 3 years\’ experience in an airline or flight catering role, ideally with ramp experience
Ability to react quickly to last‑minute schedule changes and remain calm under pressure
Strong organisational, planning and multitasking abilities
Energetic, deadline-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
Excellent administration and prioritisation skills
Strong computer skills; knowledge of Aer Lingus systems, AIMS and ASTRAL is an advantage
Excellent verbal and written communication
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
Proven ability to assess situations and make quick, sound decisions to minimise disruption
High level of flexibility, resilience and adaptability
Fully trained to operate a Hi-Loader
Eligible to live and work in the EU
