Job description

Site Managers required for clients based across the Leinster area.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities.
  • Ensure that the project stays on schedule and within budget.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.

Team Management:

  • Lead and direct a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and laborers.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to workers.

Strong Leadership:

  • Ensure that all work meets quality standards and adheres to project specifications.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address defects or issues.
  • Implement quality control measures and processes.

Safety:

  • Enforce safety protocols and regulations on the construction site.
  • Conduct safety meetings and training sessions for workers.
  • Investigate and report accidents or safety violations.

Problem Solving:

  • Identify and resolve construction-related issues and challenges promptly.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to find solutions to unexpected problems.

Communication:

  • Serve as a liaison between workers, subcontractors, and project management.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress and any deviations from the plan.
  • Communicate project requirements and expectations clearly to the team.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years\’ experience in a similar role
  • Relevant Third level Qualification
