Trade Sales Consultant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Trade Sales Consultant. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys building relationships, thrives in a fast-paced sales environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent service.

You\’ll support customers at the trade counter and over the phone, provide product knowledge and advice, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations while helping to drive sales growth.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for customers in store and on the phone

• Provide advice, product information, and accurate quotations to help customers find the right solutions

• Process orders and payments efficiently with attention to detail

• Keep customers informed on order progress, deliveries, and any updates

• Proactively promote products, highlight alternatives, and maximise sales opportunities

• Assist with stock control, deliveries, and maintaining high standards across the branch

• Stay up to date with product ranges, promotions, and branch targets

• Follow all health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role

• Strong communication skills with a passion for excellent customer service

• A proactive, flexible approach and willingness to support the wider team

• Comfortable using computer systems for sales and administration
